At the group level, he is responsible for formulating strategies and assessing risk for businesses across markets, like capital markets and investment banking. He is also the face of Shoonya for investors, traders and business partners. Mr. Rakesh Bhatia is the Cheif Operating Officer of the Finvasia group. He had been the former Director and CEO of National Institute of Banking Studies and Corporate management (NIBSCOM). He served Bank of Baroda for more than 38 years and retired as General manager & Zonal head of New Delhi Zone. he also headed the Marketing, Wealth management and Corporate Communications division of bank as Corporate General manager. A seasoned banker with almost four decades of versatile experience in various capacities including seven years of overseas posting in London (UK) and Nairobi (Kenya) territories of the bank. He remained on board of The Nainital Bank Ltd. and BOB Capital Markets Ltd and contributed productively in policy making. he specialises in Banking operations, Credit (retail, MSME, Corporate Credit), Forex, Marketing, Wealth management, Corporate Communications and Soft Skills etc. He has been known in the Bank as a Motivational Speaker because of his leadership skills, team building and positive communication and strong PR skills.
